Operation Black Panther Down

Manby Airfield - 21st February 2010

THE SITUATION

Eight months ago members of the Unified Peoples Militia took control of the town of Louth after the local council over charged on local taxes. Since then the UPM have looked to extend their occupation into other small villages and town ships.

The government are concerned that unless checked this uprising could lead other towns and cities to do the same across the land and thus leading to a mass civil war. With over 75% of the British Army engaged in other conflicts overseas, the country would not take long to be under rebel hands.

Three months ago the UPM managed to take control of  Fotherby and Utterby to the north of the town, Manby and its airfield to the east, Horncastle to the west and as far down as Boston to the south. Their numbers are swelling with each new town ship that they take. It is estimated that within the next month their forces will be numbered and trained enough to take control of Lincoln and beyond, if this happens it will be the beginning of the end for the current UK Government  as we know it. The Government are therefore wanting to take these people down now before this escalates to other areas of the country.

9 Para were tasked with this job. They managed to secure a building to the east of your area of operations however they have become bogged down in heavy fighting for the airfield that is connected to Manby. Your Unit is tasked with taking the airfield and relieving 9 Para.

NATO forces – Strictly green DPM only
Rebel forces – civilian clothing, black, any other combat clothing EXCEPT GREEN DPM
