Sunday 23rd August Openday
A great day had by all who attended, weather was great and the pyrotechics was plenty! Apologies to the players that were spattered in wet mud by the simulated shell strikes as they charged through the enemy lines! The blind date game proved to be popular as most did not know what to expect!
Saturday Openings
1st March 2009: Due to the demand for players not being able to make the Friday night skirmishes and those players who just cant wait till next Friday we are planning to operate Saturday evening skirmishes from the Embassy. Is it something that interests you? Let us know!

Minimum player age increased
19th NOVEMBER 2008: Unfortunately due to our insurance underwriters we have had to raise the minimum player age to 14 yrs.
Saturday Skirmishes for Newbies and novices.
17th NOVEMBER 2008: There are plans in the pipeline to soon open on a Saturday from 10am till 2pm especially for the newbies, novices and younger skirmishes. We will hopefully looking at Saturday evenings from 7.30pm till 11pm for a general skirmish night too. We would love to hear your views so email us.

Outdoor Skirmish 7th September 2008
Many thanks to all those attended making it another great day for all. Even though the weather forecast did not look good we changed the venue to the Embassy but still managed to get a few games in outside.
Today saw the appearance of the finished "Green Panther Landrover". Even though it was not used in games it was heavily tested around the site so players who saw it dived out the way! Armed with two mighty M249 minimi guns and basic equipment it will be making regular appearances on game days.
Summer Price Drop!
Since we have not seen much of Summer this year due to the weather we have dropped the price of the full Sunday games to just £15 for the day! This price will continue till further notice. Gun rental still remains the same.
Ex-rental guns for sale

We have a number of ex-rental D-boys M4 plastic bodied AEG for sale. These are surplus to our armoury and are currently supplied with ex-rental battery and magazine. £50.00 each (not many left). All enquiries please telephone or email.
Changes to booking information
March 11th 2008
In order to play at Lindsey Airsoft you must pay a deposit when you book your place. Those wishing to hire guns must pay for the rental in advance when they book as we have had many players book a rifle and not attended which resulted in those who want to hire a gun cannot.

March 7th 2008
Unfortunately due to the increase in overhead costs, (increase in site rental, gun repairs, vehicle maintenance, fuel etc) we have been forced to raise the prices up to the following: Outdoor skirmish days £15.00 members and £25.00 non members. Evening games will now be £7.50 for members and £12.50 for non members. Gun/equipment rental will remain at £15.00. These prices will come into effect on 1st April 2008.
Airsoft MilSim and Fieldcraft Training

We will soon be starting MilSim training this is ideal for people new to the sport or wishes to expand their knowledge of airsofting. Such details include Fieldcraft, Camouflage & Concealment, cooking in the field, section attacks, ambushes, setting up harbour areas, working as a section, airsoft shooting techniques and much more. 10th February will see the the first outdoor event on the battlefield at Manby Motorplex. Reconnaissance reports show that the battlefield terrain is well muddy to provide a challenging day!

SITE OWNERS MESSAGE

We would like to thank all our players and customers for their continued
support throughout 2007 and hope that 2008 will bring us more opportunities
for new sites and locations. We have seen an increase of players over the last few months from experienced skirmishers to novices and newbies! With this kind of popularity we can promote this as the sport it should be. Many thanks go to Nick - whos hosting makes everyone feel welcome, Reggie (aka Paul) - on the front desk offering help and support, Nige - Who's firm marshalling skills and technical knowledge keeps the players on the right track and finally all my other staff who go out their way to make your visits as enjoyable as possible. For those who dont know me, I rarely get chance to "float" about like I used to! Most of my time is spent in the office catching up with paperwork, memberships and other admin. I will make an effort to be about more in 2008!!

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE LAW REGARDING AIRSOFT GUNS
September 25th 2007From the 1st of October 2007, the laws regarding airsoft guns are changing. This is a brief summary of those changes, more information can be found here: www.ukara.org.uk
If you are under 18 years of age, it will be illegal for you to buy an airsoft gun. It will also be illegal for anyone to sell one to you, whether you are a skirmisher or not.
Over 18's will have to prove that they are airsoft skirmishers. They can do this by taking out membership of an airsoft site which holds third-party liability insurance. In order to facilitate remote selling, UKARA the retailers organisation, has set up a database to which sites can submit their members details. Once a player is verified & on the database, any UKARA member can quickly check that a purchaser is entitled to buy an airsoft gun.
